FAMILIARISATION TRIP TO KERALA TOURISM

Embassy of India in Hanoi, in coordination with Tourism Department of Kerala state, organized a familiarization visit (FAM) to Kerala for a group of 11 Vietnamese tour operators and 2 media persons from 21st-28th August 2023. The tour was sponsored locally by Kerala Tourism Department including lodging, boarding and sightseeing. The FAM visited Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom and Alleppey. Some of the places they visited in these cities included Santa Cruz Basilica,  Mattupetty dam, Eco point Tea Plantation, Periyar wild life sanctuary, house boat cruise in Alleppy.

The FAM participants showed their delight and appreciation for the scenic beauty, pristine nature, traditions, architecture, local cuisine and culture in Kerala with their tag line God’s Own Country https://www.keralatourism.org/. Since August 2023, Kochi city in Kerala is connected by direct flights to Ho Chin Minh City.
