Visit of the Minister of State (MoS)for External Affairs of India

The Minister of State (MoS)for External Affairs of India, H.E. Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh paid a visit to Vietnam from 25-27 September to participate in Horaris India Meeting 2022 at Binh Duong Province in Vietnam.

At the Horaris India Meeting 2022, the MoS underscored that economic opportunities for business leaders in wide range of sectors. The Minister of State met the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Vu Dam and discussed a wide range of bilateral issues and regional and international developments of mutual interest.  He also met H.E Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, the Party Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City on 27 September 2022. On the other hand, the Party Secretary Nen recalled his successful visit to India in June 2022 as part of high-level exchanges during the 50th anniversary year of India-Vietnam Diplomatic Relations. On 25 September, he had a fruitful meeting with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Party Secretary of Binh Duong Province, Vietnam on further deepening of bilateral relationship including trade and investment and people to people exchanges.

MoS External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh addressed a gathering at Binh Duong marking the 50th Anniversary of establishment of India Vietnam diplomatic relations. He underscored that our relationship is deep rooted since millennia and further cooperation is growing in different areas between the two comprehensive strategic partners. He also had an interaction with Indian Community in Ho Chi Minh City.
