[01-08 October, 2023] 13th edition of East Himalayan Trade Fair (EHTF)

The Embassy of India in Vietnam has the honour to inform that the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is organizing the 13th edition of East Himalayan Trade Fair (EHTF) in Guwahati from 01-08 October, 2023 with the support of the Government of Assam and with the Ministry of MSME, the Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Social Justice, and NSIC  and other Government Departments of India. 

The Embassy has the further honour to inform that Assam is India’s gateway to the Northeast and acts as a vital link for trade with Southeast Asian countries. It is well connected by rail, road, ports, and airports. Thus the State has adopted numerous investor-friendly policies to attract investments & accelerate industrial development. The show is being organized with an aim to establish the event as a regular inter regional trade fair and provide opportunity to the North Eastern Region to access market of the region, widen trade horizons and enhance business links through its unique platform of trade fairs. The show provides an insight to Government's initiatives and schemes for boosting the industry and commerce of the region. The fair acts as a juncture for business interaction and awareness creation. Its product profile includes:

  • Consumer Goods Sector : Electrical Appliances, Electronic Goods, Kitchenware, Food and Confectionery items, Organic Products, Health, Cosmetics & Beauty Products, Textiles & Garments, Leather Goods, Handicrafts, Furniture & Furnishing items, Carpets, Jute Products, Books, Stationery Items, Corporate Gifts etc.

  • Products of Small & Medium Enterprises, Products of Self Help Groups

  • Capital Goods : All kinds of Engineering Goods etc.

  • Service Sector : Hospitals & Nursing Homes, Laboratories and Diagnostics Centers, Insurance & Bank, Tourism Sectors, NGOs, IT and Computer Sector and others.
