As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Embassy of India and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre organized a webinar on "India-Vietnam Buddhist Linkages: A New Perspective At The Time Of Pandemic” on 29 November 2021. The webinar witnessed presentations by eminent Buddhist scholars from India and Vietnam - Dr. Karam Tej Singh Sarao from Delhi University; Venerable Bhikkhu Ananda, General Secretary of Mahabodhi Society, Bengaluru and Nun Dr. Thích Như Nguyệt, Director of the Buddhist Women's Research Center of the Vietnam Institute of Buddhist Studies, Vietnam Buddhist University, Ho Chi Minh City.
