India@75: Embassy Marks Celebration of the Festival of Color at USSH (25 March 2021)

Trung tâm Văn hóa Swami Vivekananda, Đại sứ quán Ấn Độ, Hà Nội kết hợp với Bộ môn Ấn Độ học, Khoa Đông phương học, Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn, Hà Nội (USSH) tổ chức Lễ hội Holi 2021. Sự kiện diễn ra trong khuôn viên Trường vào ngày 25/3/2021. Phó Đại sứ Ngài Subhash P. Gupta đã có bài phát biểu khai mạc và trình bày về ý nghĩa của Lễ hội Holi từ góc nhìn văn hóa và nông nghiệp. Trưởng Khoa Đông phương học của Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn, TS Lê Thị Thu Giang đã đọc thông điệp của Hiệu trưởng trường đại học nhân dịp này. Tiến sĩ G. B. Harisha, Giám đốc Trung tâm Văn hóa Swami Vivekananda, Hà Nội, PGS.TS. Đỗ Thu Hà, Trưởng Bộ môn Ấn Độ học, Khoa Đông phương học, Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn, Hà Nội, Bà Rachna Srivastav, Bí thư thứ nhất (Lãnh sự) cũng cùng tham dự lễ hội. Các em sinh viên của khoa đã tham gia biểu diễn một số tiết mục văn nghệ mang đậm nhịp điệu Ấn Độ. Các em cũng có cơ hội theo dõi một số đoạn phim ngắn với những bài hát liên quan đến Lễ hội Holi ở Ấn Độ để hiểu hơn về lễ hội văn hóa quan trọng này của Ấn Độ. Lễ hội này nằm trong chuỗi sự kiện Kỷ niệm India @ 75.

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Hanoi in association with Indian Department of Oriental Studies Faculty, in University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi (USSH) celebrated Holi Festival 2021. The event took place in the University campus on 25 March 2021. Deputy Chief of the Mission Shree Subhash P. Gupta gave inaugural address and presentation on the significance of Holi Festival both from cultural and agricultural perspective. Dean of the Oriental Faculty of USSH Dr. Le Thi Thu Giang read the message of the University’s Rector for this occasion. Dr. G. B. Harisha, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Hanoi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thu Ha, Head of Indian Department of Oriental Studies Faculty of USSH and Smt. Rachna Srivastav, First Secretary (Consular) participated in the festival. Students of the department performed songs to Indian rhythm. Video songs related to Holi Festival celebration in India were shared with the students to give them an understanding of this important cultural festival of India. This festival was celebrated as a part of India@75 ongoing series of events.
