During her visit to Vietnam from 12-15 June 2018, H.E. Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon'ble Defence Minister of India, accompanied by Ambassador P. Harish and the official delegation from the Ministry of Defence of India, visited the Cam Ranh Naval Base and interacted with the Base Commander. She was welcomed on board the Quang Trung Frigate of Vietnam People's Navy. During the visit to the Naval Base, the Hon'ble Minister also participated in the Gifting Ceremony of Glide Path Indicator by India to the Vietnam People's Navy.
