A month-long Namaste Vietnam festival hosted by the Consulate General of India in HCM City brings a unique blend of Indian culture, business, tourism and Bollywood to the people of Vietnam. Ambassador Pranay Verma joined the festival’s launch at Ho Chi Minh City on 13 August and at Nha Trang city on 18 August. He also addressed two major seminars organized in the two cities to promote India-Vietnam tourism exchanges as part of the festival. The events coincide with celebrations for the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence Day and 50th anniversary of India-Vietnam Diplomatic Relations. They also showcase our outreach to Vietnam’s provinces in promoting trade, culture and tourism ties and strengthening people-to-people exchanges.
