Ambassador Pranay Verma delivered opening remarks at an international conference organized by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Vietnam
Institute for Indian and Southwest Asian Studies, Hanoi (VIISAS) on 15 June 2020 to mark the the 50th anniversary of India-Vietnam Diploamtic Relations and the 10th anniversary of the founding of VIISAS. The event was also addressed by the President of VASS, Associate Prof. Dr. Bui Nhat Quang. Ambassador conveyed his deep appreciation for the contributions made by VIISAS over the last 10 years to promote research and scholarship on India and India-Vietnam relations and lauded its emergence as a premier institute for India-related studies in Vietnam. The day-long conference was attended by several eminent scholars and strategic experts of India and Vietnam.
Đại sứ Pranay Verma phát biểu khai mạc hội thảo quốc tế do Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học Xã hội Việt Nam (VASS) và Viện Nghiên cứu Ấn Độ và Tây Nam Á (VIISAS) tổ chức nhân kỷ niệm 50 năm Quan hệ Ngoại giao Ấn Độ - Việt Nam và kỷ niệm 10 năm thành lập VIISAS. Chủ tịch VASS, PGS.TS Bùi Nhật Quang cũng đã phát biểu tại sự kiện. Đại sứ bày tỏ sự cảm kích sâu sắc đối với những đóng góp của VIISAS trong 10 năm qua trong việc thúc đẩy nghiên cứu và học bổng về Ấn Độ và quan hệ Ấn Độ - Việt Nam và sự phát triển của VIISAS như một viện nghiên cứu hàng đầu về Ấn Độ tại Việt Nam. Hội nghị kéo dài một ngày, có sự tham dự của một số học giả và chuyên gia chiến lược nổi tiếng của Ấn Độ và Việt Nam.
