As a part of its initiatives for exploring opportunities in electronic sector, the Embassy of India in Hanoi in collaboration with the Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) of India, Vietnam Electronics Industries Association (VEIA) and Vietnam’s Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises organized a Virtual Buyer Seller Meet on on 21 December 2021. The event saw participation of more than 50 representatives from companies in electronic sector from India and Vietnam.
In his keynote address, Shri Subhash P. Gupta, Charge d’Affairs highlighted high growth sustained by both countries in electronics sector contributing significantly in the GDP of both countries. Considering the convergence of strengths of both countries in this sector, he suggested for identifying products suitable for each country as well as finalization of MRAs for forging new supply chains and connecting with the global supply.

Trong khuôn khổ các sáng kiến xúc tiến thương mại trong lĩnh vực điện tử, Đại sứ quán Ấn Độ phối hợp với Hội đông xúc tiến Xuất khẩu các sản phẩm Điện tử và Phần mềm Ấn Độ (ESC), Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Điện tử Việt Nam và Hiệp hội các nhà Đầu tư Nước ngoài Việt Nam đã tổ chức cuộc Tọa đàm trực tuyến vào ngày 21 tháng 12 năm 2021. Tọa đàm đã thu hút sự tham gia của đại diện 50 doanh nghiệp trong lĩnh vực điện tử của cả Ấn Độ và Việt Nam.
Trong bài phát biểu khai mạc, Ông Subhash P. Gupta, Đại biện Lâm thời Đại sứ quán Ấn Độ nhấn mạnh về sự phát triển của ngành điện tử, đóng góp lớn vào tăng trưởng GDP của cả hai nước. Với sự thế mạnh có thể bổ sung cho nhau trong lĩnh vực này, Đại lâm thời Ấn Độ đề nghị doanh nghiệp hai nước tìm ra những mặt hàng phù hợp của mỗi nước để có thể hợp tác và sớm hoàn tất Thỏa thuận Công nhận tiêu chuẩn của nhau để doanh nghiệp hai nước có thể tham gia và chuỗi cung ứng và kết nối với chuỗi cung ứng toàn cầu.
