On 10 January 2018, the Embassy of India in Hanoi organized a celebration of Pravasi Bhartiya Divas at the Embassy premises. Ambassador P. Harish interacted with members of the Indian community. The speeches of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj were also screened on this occasion.
