On 7 August 2020, Ambassador Pranay Verma and Mr. Vu Van San, President of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) of Vietnam signed an Addendum to the Agreement for implementation of a project to set up a state-of-the-art centre for advanced IT Training at PTIT, Ho Chi Minh City with an Indian assistance of US$ 1.08 million under the ASEAN-India Cooperation Fund. The project is being implemented by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) which is the premier R&D organization of India at the forefront of the country’s IT revolution. Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador recalled the successful legacy of India's development partnership in Vietnam and highlighted digital connectivity, as exemplified by the upcoming IT centre, as an emerging priority of India-Vietnam development partnership. CDAC has earlier provided a super computer to Hanoi University of Science and Technology and set up an Advanced Resource Centre in Information and Communications Technology in Hanoi.

Vào ngày 7 tháng 8 năm 2020, Đại sứ Pranay Verma và Ông Vũ Văn San, Giám đốc Học Viện Công Nghệ Bưu Chính Viễn Thông (PTIT) của Việt Nam đã ký Phụ Lục của Thỏa Thuận về việc thực hiện một dự án xây dựng trung tâm quốc gia về Đào tại CNTT tiên tiến tại PTIT, cơ sở Hồ Chí Minh bằng khoản hỗ trợ trị giá 1.08 triệu đô la Mỹ của Ấn Độ trong Quỹ Hợp Tác ASEAN-Ấn Độ. Dự án này được thực hiện bởi Trung Tâm phát triển tin học tiên tiến (CDAC), tổ chức nghiên cứu và phát triển hàng đầu của Ấn Độ trong cuộc cách mạng CNTT tại nước này. Phát biểu tại sự kiện, Đại Sứ nhắc đến những thành tựu trong quan hệ đối tác phát triển của Ấn Độ tại Việt Nam và nhấn mạnh kết nối số như được thể hiện thông qua trung tâm CNTT sắp được xây dựng, sẽ là ưu tiên trong quan hệ đối tác phát triển giữa Ấn Độ và Việt Nam. CDAC trước đó đã cung cấp một siêu máy chủ cho Đại Học Bách Khoa Hà Nội và thành lập Trung tâm nguồn lực tiên tiến về CNTT và Truyền thông tại Hà Nội.
