Under the series of events to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Embassy of India in Hanoi and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Hanoi organised a cycling event in Hanoi on World Bicycle Day. Members of Vietnam India Friendship Association (VIFA), Hanoi Veteran Sports Bike Club, Giant Bike Club and Embassy staff participated in this event. Ambassador P. Harish offered floral tribute to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi in the Embassy premises and addressed the participating members on the benefits of cycling, Mahatma Gandhi's interest in cycling and the message of his life.
