On the occasion of Visit of Hon'ble Vice President to Vietnam, Embassy of India, Hanoi organized a Reception on 9th May, 2019 where he addressed the Indian Community and Friends of India from Vietnam. Representatives of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Ho Chi Minh Academy of Politics, Vietnam India Friendship Association (VIFA), Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and prominent members of the Indian Community attended the event. Ambassador P. Harish welcomed Hon'ble Vice President at the Reception and addressed the gathering. Hon'ble Vice President highlighted the strong bilateral ties between India and Vietnam. He also appreciated the importance of the Overseas Indian community and Friends of India in Vietnam for strengthening mutual understanding between the two countries and peoples.
