Indian Naval Ships INS KOLKATA and INS SHAKTI visit to Vietnam

As part of the ongoing operational deployment of the Indian Navy in the South East Asia region two Indian Naval Ships INS KOLKATA and INS SHAKTI were on a four day goodwill visit from 13 to 16 April, 2019 and docked at Cam Ranh International Port of Nha Trang with a crew of 730 officers and sailors. A reception was held on board by the Ship Captain Aditya Hara and Ambassador P. Harish which was attended by Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Ngan, Vice Chief of Staff of the Naval Region 4, senior Officials of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and other dignitaries and friends of India. This was followed by a band concert by the Naval Band. The officers and crewmen of the ship also took part in second edition of bilateral joint exercise of both Navies.
