National Voters Day (NVD) is celebrated every year on 25 January to abide faith in democracy to uphold the democratic traditions of India and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement. Ambassador P. Harish administered the National Voters Day pledge to the officers/officials of the Embassy.
