Embassy of India, Hanoi along with Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) Hanoi organised a business get together as well as TET Reception on 24th January, 2019. This was attended by the officers from various Ministeries/Departments and agencies of the Government of Vietnam and representatives of Indian and Vietnamese industry and business chambers. Ambassador P. Harish welcomed the gathering and expressed his satisfaction at the successful year of 2018 for both countries for achieving a bilateral trade volume of around US$13 billion and being on track to achieve the target set by leaders of both countries of US$15 billion trade by 2020. He thanked all ministries and agencies of the Government of Vietnam for their cooperation in this regard and wished all present a Happy New Year. Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh, Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry conveyed her appreciation for the efforts of the industry on both sides. Mr. Harish Taparia, Chairman, INCHAM Hanoi also thanked everyone for their support.
