[08-09 September 2026] 9th ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry (9th AIMMAF)

This is to inform that the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Government of lndia is organising the 9th ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry (9th AIMMAF) from 08-09 September 2026. 

The ASEAN-India partnership has grown steadily over the years, underpinned by shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in agriculture, food security, sustainable resource management, climate resilience, agricultural innovation, and rural development. The 9th AIMMAF will provide an important opportunity for Ministers to review the progress made under the ASEAN-India cooperation framework, exchange views on emerging regional and global challenges, and chart the future course of collaboration for mutual benefit.

The Meeting is expected to deliberate on key areas of cooperation, including sustainable agriculture, digital agriculture, climate-smart farming, agricultural research and innovation, food and nutrition security, agroforestry, capacity building, and strengthening resilient agricultural value chain.
