India & Viet Nam take forward air connectivity. Boost to people-to-people linkages.
A delegation from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, visited Viet Nam from 17–18 September 2026 and held discussions with the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) on the India–Viet Nam Air Services Agreement.
Enhanced air connectivity will provide fresh momentum to trade, investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
Connectivity is an important pillar of the India–Viet Nam Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
