The Vietnam – India Future Technology Forum was held in Ho Chi Minh City on 26 October 2026 under the aegis of the Autumn Economic Forum, with the Consulate General of India, Ho Chi Minh City partnering with C4IR.

Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa delivered the opening remarks at the event, which also witnessed addresses by Vice Chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee H.E. Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Joint Secretary MeitY, GoI Shri Ajit Kumar, and a virtual address by Secretary MeitY Shri S. Krishnan.

A Panel Discussion centred on identifying opportunities for collaboration between India and Vietnam in training, capacity building, and joint research in AI, cybersecurity, fintech and more, with participation from Indian and Vietnamese experts.

India is committed to partnering with Viet Nam in future technologies — this is the way ahead for the India – Vietnam Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
