Strengthening Maritime & Oceanographic Cooperation

Indian Naval Ship INS SAGARDHWANI, an oceanographic research vessel, arrived at Cam Ranh Bay on 5 May 2026, reinforcing India–Vietnam ties in maritime security and scientific collaboration. Advancing our shared SAGAR vision—Security and Growth for All in the Region.
This ship visit is symbolic as it coincides with the State Visit of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. To Lam to India.
