The Embassy in collaboration with the General Department of Defence Industry (GDDI), Ministry of National Defence of Vietnam and FICCI, organised the India–Vietnam Defence Industry Interaction 2026 in Hanoi.

 Co-chaired by Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa and Maj Gen Pham Thanh Khiet, Deputy Chairman & Chief of Staff, GDDI, the interaction brought together 19 leading Indian defence companies and 32 Vietnamese entities, including end users, research institutions and procurement agencies.

 The interaction provided a valuable platform to explore opportunities for greater defence industrial cooperation, technology collaboration and co-production between India and Vietnam.

 The interaction reflects the mutual trust, mutual solidarity and mutual respect between India and Vietnam. The sky is not the limit for our friendship.
