Celebrating the spirit of Yoga at the historic Tam Chuc Pagoda!
Today, on the 12th International Day of Yoga, the Embassy of India in Hanoi, in association with the National Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, successfully organized a Yoga session at the Tam Chuc Pagoda Complex.
Steeped in over 1,000 years of history, the historic Tam Chuc Pagoda Complex is renowned as one of the world's largest Buddhist complexes. This spectacular sanctuary features the iconic Ngoc (Pearl) Pagoda, built entirely of stone blocks jointly constructed by Indian and Vietnamese engineers, symbolizing deep-rooted spiritual solidarity
Under this year’s theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing", hundreds of practitioners gathered in this peaceful sanctuary to practice the Common Yoga Protocol, highlighting the role of Yoga in promoting physical vitality and mental harmony.
This beautiful event stands as a true testament to the enduring friendship and deep cultural & people-to-people ties between India and Vietnam. We express our gratitude to the National Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Yoga Federations and other yoga enthusiasts for their cooperation in making the event a grand success.
