Ambassador visited the Dau Pagoda and But Thap Pagoda in Bac Ninh Province

Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa visited the Dau Pagoda in Bac Ninh Province which is considered to be the oldest pagoda in Viet Nam. This pagoda has a deep India connection with Indian monk Khau Da La who is said to have come to this region about 1800 years ago.
Ambassador also visited the historical and architectural National Treasure But Thap Pagoda.
Ambassador met Most Venerable Thich Thanh Son, Chief Abbot of Dau and But Thap Pagodas. The civilisational bridge of Buddhism will continue to strengthen the mutual trust and respect between the peoples of India and Viet Nam.
