Ambassador visited INS Udaygiri and INS Kavaratti during their port call to Ho Chi Minh City

Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa visited INS UDAYGIRI and INS KAVARATTI during their port call to Ho Chi Minh City and interacted with Rear Admiral Alok Ananda, YSM, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet.
Briefed on the Fleet’s operational readiness and advanced indigenous capabilities, the Ambassador lauded the professionalism of the Indian Navy and India’s growing prowess in indigenous shipbuilding and cutting-edge maritime technologies. He also appreciated the Navy’s role in strengthening India-Vietnam ties and contributing to peace, stability and cooperation in the region and the Indo-Pacific.
