Ambassador Tshering W Sherpa met H.E. Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Party Secretary of Ho Chin Minh City on 16 June 2026.
The Party Secretary was a member of the General Secretary and State President’s delegation to India for the State Visit in May 2026.
Ho Chi Minh City and Mumbai signed a Twinning Agreement during the State Visit and during the meeting it was agreed to form a Roadmap to take forward this partnership between the two cities.
The commercial capital of Ho Chi Minh City is home to many Indian companies and Indian diaspora. India is committed to enhancing our linkages with this city in the fields of Tourism, Water transport, ICT, investments and commerce.
