Can Tho City and India have a rich history of cooperation. We value our shared partnership in rice research and production of Vietnam.
Ambassador Tshering W Sherpa met H.E. Le Quang Tung, Secretary of the Can Tho Municipal Party Committee, today in Can Tho City.
They discussed possible areas for cooperation and collaboration between India and Can Tho City in areas such as agriculture, ICT, tourism, S&T, etc. They agreed to enhance people-to-people ties through cultural exchanges.
We value our historical ties with Can Tho and the Mekong Delta region. We look forward to taking our partnership forward.
