Ambassador called on Madam Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health

Health is an important pillar of the India-Viet Nam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa called on H. E. Madam Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health on 22 April 2026. They discussed the vast potential and opportunities for collaboration in the healthcare sector. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in traditional medicine between the two sides. As the ‘Pharmacy of the World’, India remains committed to working closely with Viet Nam in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
