Joint Communique issued at the 16th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of India and the People’s Republic of China on Korean Peninsula on 27 February, 2019

The Ministers welcomed the significant, positive changes in Korean Peninsula since 2018 and DPRK’s declared commitment for denuclearization. They welcomed the talks and consultations between the US and the DPRK, as well as improvement of inter-Korea relations. They reaffirmed that the Korean Peninsula issues should be resolved by peaceful and diplomatic means and expressed the hope that all parties concerned work together for continued progress in the political settlement process and realize denuclearization and lasting peace on the Peninsula at an early date.
