Embassy of India in Hanoi and the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City jointly organised an on-line interaction on "India-Vietnam Business Cooperation in Aquatic Products" on 27 October 2021 which brought together relevant chambers and enterprises of India and Vietnam to discuss opportunities for enhancing bilateral trade in seafood and fisheries. Aquatic products are an important component of India-Vietnam bilateral trade.

Ambassador Pranay Verma gave opening remarks at the event, highlighting India's strengths in aquatic products and the significance of seafood and fisheries industry in bilateral trade with Vietnam. He called upon businesses from both sides to build new partnerships in this sector.
