The Embassy, in association with the Indian Business Chamber (INCHAM) in Viet Nam, organized the ‘India-Viet Nam Pharmaceutical & Medical Equipment Business Meet’ on 25 March 2026. The event was supported by the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam and numerous medical associations of Viet Nam. Two panel discussions on the themes 'India’s participation in Pharma Sector in Viet Nam' and 'Opportunities for India-Viet Nam cooperation in Pharma and Medical Equipment' were organized. The event explored emerging opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector in Viet Nam and discussed measures to enhance collaboration in this crucial domain. Avenues for investment from India in Viet Nam were also discussed. Indian speakers also highlighted the humoungous advance and technological progress made by in this domain. Ambassador addressed the gathering. The event was followed by a lively Q&A and B2B meetings. Viet Nam is an important partner in the pharmaceutical sector. India remains a valued, reliable and resilient partner of Viet Nam. As the 'Pharmacy of the World', India has much to offer to Viet Nam.
