Ambassador Pranay Verma hosted a luncheon reception on 6 June 2022 at the India House for a delegation from National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam led by the Chairman of NA’s Foreign Affairs Committee, His Excellency Vu Hai Ha and Chairman of Vietnam-India Parliamentray Friendship Group in NA, His Excellency Duong Thanh Binh. Both sides underlined the importance of Parliamentary exchanges in promoting bilateral ties and expressed happiness over the recent momentum in high-level visits between the two Parliaments. Ambassador also briefed the National Assembly members on some of the key developments in India and in India-Vietnam relations in the context of the twin landmarks being celebrated this year - the 50th anniversary of India-Vietnam Diplomatic Relations #IndiaVietnamAt50 and the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav.
