An 'India Corner' was inaugurated today at the Institute for South Asian, West Asian and African Studies (ISAWAAS). Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Lợi, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), jointly cut the ribbon to inaugurate the India Corner. Over the years, the Embassy has engaged in extensive collaborations with VASS and ISAWAAS, particularly with the institute's dynamic and talented team of scholars. This space will provide a rich repository of knowledge resources, enabling both sides to strengthen their cooperation. The establishment of the India Corner comes at an opportune moment as India and Vietnam prepare to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2026.
