Embassy of India in Hanoi celebrated the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Members of Indian community, Friends of India in Vietnam, students of Swami Vivekanand Cultural Centre joined the celebration which began with paying the floral tributes to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This was followed by a cultural programme highlighting Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings and philosophy to the creation of a harmonious society based on the ethos of tolerance, peace, communal harmony, women empowerment and protection of natural resources. A photo exhibition on Guru Nanak Dev Ji and display of books on Sikh religion and its teachings were also organised at the Swami Vivekanand Cultural Centre.
