Ambassador visits Quang Nam Province

During his visit to Quảng Nam province, Ambassador was received by the Provincial Party Secretary, H.E. Phan Viet Cuong at the provincial capital Tam Ky. Party Secretary Cuong is also a member of the Vietnam-India Parliamentary Friendship Group in Vietnam’s National Assembly and a close friend of India. During the meeting, they reviewed the progress in the archeological restoration work being undertaken by Government of India at Mỹ Sơn temple complex, and explored prospects for enhancing the province’s tourism, investment and development partnership with India. Quang Nam has a rich history, with some heritage sites bearing testimony of close cultural and civilizational links with India.
