Ambassador’s Visit to VIISAS - 7 Sept 2020

Ambasssor Pranay Verma was invited by the Institute of Indian and Southwest Asian Studies (VIISAS) of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) to speak to a select group of scholars and researchers on recent developments in India-Vietnam relations. The recently held Joint Commission Meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries provided the context for these discussions. Ambassador also spoke on India’s response to COVID-19 pandemic and some of the transformative steps being taken by India to address healthcare, livelihood and economic challenges, to build resilience through self-reliance and to position India’s revival to lead the global revival post-pandemic.
