Ambassador's Meeting with Minister of National Defence of Vietnam

Ambassador Pranay Verma met the Minister of National Defence of Vietnam, His Excellency Sr. Lt. Gen. Phan Van Giang on June 1, 2021 and congratulated him on assuming his new position. They exchanged views on various aspects of India-Vietnam defence partnership and expressed satisfaction over continued positive momentum in bilateral defence engagements despite the disruptions caused by #COVID19. They underlined the importance attached by both sides to development of closer defence cooperation between the two countries as a key pillar of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
