Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa called on H. E. Mr. Nguyen Dy Nien, former Foreign Minister of Viet Nam, today. An early curator of the bilateral relationship from the 1950s, Minister Nien's fond memories of and in India reflect the warmth that the two countries have shared over the years. An avid follower of the India-Viet Nam developments and a Friend of, his sharp insights are spot-on and welcoming. It was an honour to meet one of the most insightful stalwarts of the India-Viet Nam relationship. We look forward to his guidance and wish him good health and happiness on the Festival of Tet.
