e-Visa - Enabled with Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)

The Indian e-Visa is an official document for entry into and travel within India. It is an electronic alternative to visas issued by Indian Embassy/Consulate. 

e-Visa has sub-categories viz. e-Tourist Visa, e-Business Visa, e-Medical Visa, e-Medical Attendant Visa, e-student visa and e-Conference Visa based on the purpose of visit to India.

Four-step process involves: 

1. Online filing of application

2. Payment of e-visa fee online 

3. Receive Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) on your email ID 

4. Fly to India with Passport and ETA.
