This is to inform that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is organizing the “World Forum of Accountants (WOFA 2.0)” from January 30- February 01, 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, India.
ICAI is a statutory body established on July 01, 1949, by an Act of the Indian Parliament (The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949) to promote, develop, and regulate the Chartered Accountancy profession in India.
- Recognized as the world's largest accounting body, ICAI currently has over 450,000 members and 1,000,000 students.
- ICAI maintains 5 Regional Councils, 183 Branches in India, and 54 Chapters along with 31 Representative Offices abroad, spanning 47 countries.
- ICAI is represented at almost all international accounting forums and holds qualification reciprocity agreements with 8 prominent accounting bodies worldwide, in addition to collaborative agreements with 16 other accounting bodies.
The objective of WOFA 2.0 is to provide a platform where the global accountancy and finance community can connect and lead the ever-changing dynamics of the field. This year's Forum Theme is: “Nation Building to Global Collaboration: Strengthening Trust, Enabling Growth,” which will highlight the pivotal role of accountants in shaping a sustainable future. The event is expected to witness the participation of approximately 25,000 delegates from across the globe, who are representatives from local Businesses & Trade Chambers, Accounting Bodies, Capital Markets Regulator, Banks, Mutual Funds, and the extensive Finance and Corporate Communities, including Accounting, Taxation, Banking & Finance professionals.
